It’s been said what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. I guess I agree with that, although I was never particularly fond of the struggle that comes through suffering. Too often those who are disheartened with their circumstances are the ones who, at least initially, question their purpose in life. If emotional scars could be seen by the human eye, I have little doubt they would be unpleasant to behold.
My heart beats for these people who are walking through struggle. And while one can imagine these folks may possess negative spirits in the midst of their trials, it’s often just the opposite. They can have deep perspectives on life and frequently exhibit an appreciation for life’s blessings over and above those who have not experienced true suffering.
This site exists to discuss these topics as they relate both to our earthly lives and our eternal lives. Let’s laugh, perhaps shed a collective tear. But most importantly, let’s elevate and encourage one another during our individual walks with God. I pray you will join me on this adventure.
